Delores Achenbach Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Achenbach in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Delores Achenbach to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Peterson and Dorothy Peterson (Mueller); her husband Herbert Achenbach; her brother Duane; and her sister-in-law Cedelia Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Achenbach (Kitty), Laurie Achenbach (Steve), Kathy Will (Harley), Peggy Achenbach, Jay Achenbach (Catherine) and Bill Achenbach (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Nick, Josh, Nate, Peter, Tim, Grace, Alexandra, Michael, Catherine, Hannah, Jack, Brennen, John and Andy. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church (13060 Lake Blvd, Lindstrom, MN 55045). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Bernard Cemetery (105 Knight Ave N, Thief River Falls, MN 56701).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Herbert and Delores Achenbach Scholarship Endowment Fund (http://www.siuf.org), a cause close to her heart.
