He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Lommel and Mildred Lommel (Willenbring); his wife Kathy of Mary's Help; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his children, Tom (Sandy) of Lyons, CO, Tim of St. Cloud, Lisa Kirchner (John) of Sartell, Melanie Webeck (Kris) of Waite Park, Lanette Urick (Patrick Torgrimson) of Sauk Rapids and Lamont (Lois) of Waite Park; and his sisters, Lois (Mike) of Richmond, VA and Sharon (Bill) of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (2405 1st St N, St Cloud, MN 56303).
