We are sad to announce that, on February 5, 2026, at the age of 93, Duane J. Fischer of Saint Cloud, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Fischer and Olivia Fischer (Meyer); his wife Eleanor Fischer of Mary's Cathedral; his stepfather Richard Gussner; his siblings, Floyd Fischer, Lillian Graget and Geraldine Sorenson; and his daughter-in-law Shelley Fischer.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas D. Fischer (Jodi) of St. Cloud, Susan Wocken (Mike) of Hutchinson, Paul Fischer (Gina) of Sartell and Donald Fischer (Sharon) of Zimmerman; his grandchildren, Staci Nestoss (Peter), Timothy Fischer (Nikki), Andrew Wocken (Stacey), Samantha Hoskins (Jake), Nicole Satzinger (Wes), Jessica Fischer, Danielle Brenny (Matt), Kelsey Bertram (Travis) and Cole Fischer; and his sister-in-law Marian Fischer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud are preferred.
