She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Reckinger and Helen Reckinger (Irene); her children, Heather and James; and her brothers, Bryant, Richard and Douglas Reckinger.

She is survived by: her sons, Bryant (Theresa) and Sterling. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
