She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred "Fritz" Smith and Frances Smith (Dobis); her husband Ron of Benedict's Catholic Church; her son Randy; her great grandchild William Brix; and her close friend Melvin Beutz.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Brix (Lori) of Big Lake, MN, Dean Brix (Bonnie) of Marshfield, WI and Russell "Rusty" Brix (Jana) of Madison Lake, MN; her daughter-in-law Linda Hawkins (Virgil) of Saint Cloud; and her siblings, Rosie Rosen of South St, Roger "Butch" Smith of Avon and Lloyd Smith (Diane) of Avon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
