He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bechtold and Catherine Bechtold (Uthe); and his siblings, Charles (Eileen), Louis Bechtold, Florence Johnson (Jim), Dorothy Weiland (Art) and Mary Bechtold.
He is survived by: his wife Danna Mae Roeder of St. Cloud; his children, Troy Bechtold (Diane) of Kimball, MN, Tracy Byrnes (Jay Bretz) of Healdsburg, CA and Carrie Vogel (JA Schwartz) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Tanner Bechtold (Sara), Taylor Bechtold, Spencer Vogel (Sarah) and Matt Vogel; his brother Delphin Bechtold (Marilyn); his sister-in-law Lucy Bechtold; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Melanie, Jennifer and Leander Marana.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2405 Walden Way, St Cloud, MN 56301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to be mailed to the Poor Clare's Monastery at 421 South 4th Street, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379.
