He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Kopel and Theodora Kopel (Pastoors); his wife Lynn Kopel; his stepchildren, Nathaniel Nino and Courtney Nino (Jake Schave); his parents-in-law, Dorothy Lamp and Fred Lamp; his daughter Kim Metz (Chris); his stepgrandsons, Caleb Schave and Wesley Shave; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Trevor and Drew Metz. He was also cherished by five siblings and numerous relatives.
Gregory Francis Kopel went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2023, at the age of 78, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
