It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John D Pannek of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wenzel Pannek and Mary Pannek (Kostreba); his wife Karen Anderson; his stepsons, Devin Nylund and Del Nylund; and his siblings, Betty Ebnet, Mary Schroeder, Anne Valerius, Ambrose Panek, Irene Kociemba and Rose Schultz.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Justin (Michael) of St. Cloud, JoAnn Edinger (Jeff) of Temple, TX and John Jr. of St. Cloud; his stepson Darin Nylund of Foley; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew, Logan, Christian and Kelie; and his siblings, Leona Belletti (Francis), Luverne Schultz (Dick), Susie Opatz (Claude), Andy Panek (Maryann) and Jeanette Kierzck.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (106 Wilson Ave SE, St Cloud, MN 56304).
