We are sad to announce that, on October 22, 2022, Joyce L. Hess (Saint Cloud, Minnesota), born in Belgrade, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce L. Hess to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Lieser and Hilaria Lieser (Meyer); her son Michael; and her siblings, Ilene Oevermann, Adeline Tiemann and David Lieser.
She is survived by: her husband Dan; her daughters, Kelly Ryan (Eric) of Chandler and Megan McNamara (Casey) of Eden Prairie; her daughter-in-law Rose Hess of Clearwater; her grandchildren, Amber, Grant Hess, Breccan and Graeme McNamara; her stepmother Imelda Lieser of Paynesville; and her siblings, Marilyn Caspers, Kenny Lieser (Barb), Bonnie Spanier (Kevin) and Sandy Hemmesch (Keith). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to Kenny Lieser for his kidney donation in 2000 and St. Croix Hospice. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers and a donation will be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation in memory of Joyce.
