He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Jean Wynia (Peterson); his brother Harold Wynia; and his parents, Jake Wynia and Velda Wynia. He is survived by: his children, Lisa of Minnesota, Randy Knick of Minnesota, Chad of Minnesota, Debbi Wynia of Minnesota, Heather of Minnesota and Phil Neenan of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Sawyer, Kayden Knick, Siera Knick, Addison Knick (Dan), Brock Knick (Isabelle), Sydney Wynia, Natalie Wynia, Finley Neenan and Evan Neenan; his great grandchild Carter Jean Knick; his sister Julie Burau (Dale); his sister-in-law Elsie Wynia; and his close friend Chuck Bergee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Annandale United Methodist Church (250 Oak Ave N, Annandale, MN 55302). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
