It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Clarence Hortsch (Saint Cloud, Minnesota), who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hortsch and Barbara Hortsch (Lange); his wife Addie; his siblings, Leon, Lambert and Luella Marthaler; his in-laws, Bernard "Ben" and Rose Barhorst; and his siblings-in-law, Faye Hortch, Leone Weinzierl, Andy Weinzierl and Virgil Marthaler.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Fox (Len) of Savage, MN and Kenneth Hortsch (Ann) of Eagan, MN; his grandchildren, Ben (Allie), Callie, Julia, Max Fox, Sara Flint (Bill), Rachel, Lauren and Ellen Hortsch; his great grandchildren, Callen, Grayson Fox, Kelsey, Cerissa and William Flint; and his brother Vern Hortsch (Maria) of Tacoma, WA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Any memorials given will be shared equally between the Benedictine Sisters of St Scholastic of St Cloud MN and the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls MN.
