She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Ahles and Armella Ahles (Nistler); her husbands, Thomas Ergen and Clifford Schlangen; her daughter Laurie Ann Ergen; her granddaughter Michelle Schlangen; and her siblings, Duane Ahles, Wanda Middendorf and Allen Ahles.

She is survived by: her sons, Scott Ergen (Marlene) of Rockville, Steve Ergen (Tammy) of Kettle River and Terry Ergen (Kathy) of St. Cloud; her grandchildren, Katie, Mitchell, Megan, Kim, Jack, Matt, Mary, Jessie, Sam, Molly and Amy; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Maxwell, Cory, Bella, Andi, Reid, Cooper, Kirbie, Owen and Jonathan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Wendelin's Mary Hall. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Wendelin's Catholic Church.
