With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melvin H. Meyer (Saint Cloud, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2026 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, August Meyer and Agnes Meyer (Schmiesing); his wife Delores M. Schneider; his brother Edgar Meyer; and his grandson Matthew Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Meyer (Berniece) of Lake Elmo, Bonnie Sowers (Tory) of Stacy, Karen Anderson (Craig) of St. Cloud, Jeff Meyer (Julie) of Lino Lakes and Tom Meyer (Michelle) of Rogers; his grandchildren, Austin Meyer (Beth), Dylan Meyer (Antonia), Connor Meyer, Maddie Kahric (Ajdin), Kyle Sowers, Ali Sowers, Brady Sowers, Kendall Anderson, Drew Anderson, Josh Meyer, Jillian Meyer, Mariah Halvorson (Austin), Kennedy Meyer and Whitney Meyer; his great grandchildren, Harmony Meyer, Ambrose Meyer, Milo Meyer, Luka Kahric and Hayes Halvorson; his siblings, Geraldine Winter of St. Cloud, Wayne Meyer of Melrose, Jeron Meyer of Rosemount and James Meyer (Doreen) of St. Cloud; and his sister-in-law Lil Meyer of Anoka. He is also survived by many other sister/brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
