Mervin F. Cihlar Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Mervin F. Cihlar of Saint Cloud, Minnesota. Mervin passed away on July 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Mervin for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Mervin’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Cihlar and Mathilda Cihlar (Kalina); his children, Mark (Shannon), Michelle Blackshaw (Rob) and Melissa Beutz (Marvin); his sister Lorraine Goebel (Gary); his wife Norma Jean of Mary's Catholic Church; his son Michael; and his sister Lucille Arndt (Wendell). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
