He was predeceased by: his mother Ilene Gertrude Borgheiinck (Schildt); his granddaughter Kayli; his great grandchild Emmett; his former wife Shirley Borgheiinck; his father Louis Borgheiinck; his close friends, Margaret and Patty; his mother-in-law Mabel Faas; his nephew Michael Faas; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Faas, Bob Faas and John "Jack" Fitz.

He is survived by: his fiancée Carol Stahnke; his daughters, Stacey Borgheiinck of Beardsley, MN and Melanie Donley (Dave) of Dumont, MN; his grandson Cody Sibson (Cayla); his stepgranddaughters, Anna Donley and Grace Donley; his great grandchild Morgan Piechowski; his sister Helen Holker (Jerome); and his siblings-in-law, Carole Fitz, Theresa Faas, Ray Faas (Judy) and Jerry Faas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at 210 4th Ave, Beardsley, MN 56211.
