We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2025, Michael F. Swanhorst of Saint Cloud, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Michael farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Michael is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Swanhorst (Miller). He is survived by: his father David Swanhorst (Hedi); his children, Casey Swanhorst (Sami) and Brooke Gruber (Adam); his grandchildren, Peyton Gruber, Connor Michael Gruber and Addison Gruber; and his siblings, Steve Swanhorst (Mary), Diane Gabler (Brent), Greg Swanhorst and Jeff Swanhorst (Rhonda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home (1111 25th Ave S, St Cloud, MN 56301).
