She was predeceased by : her parents, Agnes Jackson and George Jackson; her husband Joe Leritz; her daughters, Gail Hawkins and Val O'Sullivan; her son-in-law Chuck Hawkins; and her siblings, Phillip, Steve, Stan Jackson, Pat Trickle, Cynthia Lucke and Gail Jackson.
She is survived by : her sister Ellen Held; her children, Linda Giese (Greg), Phil Leritz (Donna), Diane Sauer (Dave), Glenda Petry and Deb Michels (Dan); her son-in-law Jay O'Sullivan (Thirteen); and her grandchildren, Mike Sauer, Jeff Sauer, Tony Hawkins, Dan Leritz, Jonathon Giese, Adam Michels, Brianna Malm, Kristen Schnackenberg, Jessalyn Johnson, Jennie Hunt, James Petry and Katie Reierson (Anna Petry Knutson). She is also survived by her 23 great-grandchildren, 23 Great- grandchildren.
During Covid, Phyllis sewed hundreds of masks for anyone who needed them.
