He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Francis (Mackedanz); his wife Mary Brinker (Schmitt); his daughter Barb Sobania; his son-in-law Chuck Borgen; and his siblings, Gilbert, Della, Ron, Ruth and Mary Jane.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Brinker (Cindy) of Cold Spring, Denice Borgen of St. Cloud, Mike Brinker (Chris) of Rice and Jean Eich (Dan) of St. Joseph; his son-in-law Ray Sobania of St. Cloud; and his siblings, Art, Joan, John, Dennis and Doris. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
