He was predeceased by: his father Richard John Thornton of Novi, MI.; and his stepson Chad Dailey. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Marilyn Thornton (Elliott); his wife Pamela Thornton; his stepson Sean Dailey; his sister Lynn Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Teresa Hum (Warren Hum) and Ed Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and step nieces.
