He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Carlson and Jennie Carlson (Cooper); his children, Michael and Nicole; his son-in-law Al Moffatt; and his sister Kay Harberts (Doug).
He is survived by: his wife Debby of St. Cloud; his children, Pam Moffatt of Fargo, ND, Rochelle Fredrick (Keith) of Becker and Shawn Carlson of St. Cloud; and his siblings, Gary Carlson (Marilyn) of Ortonville, Gerald Carlson (Pam) of Big Stone, Rick Carlson (Angela) of Vermillion, Dan Carlson (Kim) of Big Stone and Julie Wiese of Big Stone. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice House.
