He is survived by: his children, Debra Backus (Dennis) of St. Cloud, MN and Doug Severson (Carol) of Sartell, MN; his grandchildren, Tracy Backus, Gordon Severson (Ashley), Patrick Severson and Natalie Ross (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Elijah, Finley, Layla, Fallon, Eden and Faya; and his brother Kenneth Severson of Burlington, VT..
