He is survived by: his wife Diane Jurek of Saint Cloud; his children, Courtney Dougherty (Sean) of Woodbury and Brooke Zabinski of Sartell; his grandchild Teagan McCarley; and his siblings, James of Waite Park, Steven of Waite Park, Gary Zabinski (Colleen) of Waite Park, Barbara Hilgers (Mark) of St. Cloud, Janice Klaphake (Keith) of St. Joseph and Katherine Kressin of St. Cloud.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the CentraCare - Coborn's Cancer Center are preferred.
