He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard, Betty Koopmeiners (Diedrich) and Joy Risley (Toth). He is survived by: his parents, Troy Koopmeiners and Vicki Koopmeiners (Maleska); his daughter Aubree Schutz; the parent of his child Alleysha; his siblings, Kelsie Hargrays (Roosevelt) and Braden Koopmeiners (Amanda); his nieces and nephews, Roosevelt Jr., DyShawn, Zayvion, Alexander and Adelaide; his aunts and uncles, Kenneth Maleska (Rosabella), Scott Maleska (Helen) and Dana Sturm (Gary); his grandparents, Alois Maleska (Marlene) and Robert "Muggs" Gowdy; his uncles, Brett Gowdy (Racheal) and Brian Gowdy (Ivy); and his aunt Nikki (Paul). He is also survived by 6 cousins.

Through his passing he was also able to help save other's lives & gave the biggest and most selfless gift ever with his organ donation.
