Virginia W. Gerdes Obituary
We announce the death of Virginia W. Gerdes of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 87. Virginia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelmena Gerdes and Henry Gerdes; and her brothers, Darwin, Joseph, Robert, Ernest and Ritchie Gerdes.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marilyn Gunnink (Alvin) of Milaca, MN and Russell of Waite Park, MN; and her sister-in-law Carla Gerdes Gardner of Cold Spring, MN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, many other family members, as well as former students, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (4310 Co Rd 137, St Cloud, MN 56301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kings Academy (formerly St. Cloud Christian School) are preferred.
