She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Peterson and Louise Peterson (Berres); her husband Red of Mary's Cathedral; her brothers, Donald Peterson and Jack Peterson; and her granddaughter Julia Marthaler.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Dena) of Holdingford, Sharon Herzog (Tom) of Plymouth, Mary Doble (Jack) of St. Cloud, Mark (Kathryn) of Bloomington, Joe (Peg) of Sartell and Kent (Deanna) of Nisswa; and her brother Bill Peterson (Norma). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
