He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Heller and Adella Heller (King); his wife Janice Jensen; and his siblings, Alice, Evelyn, Curt, Woodrow, Clifford, Muriel, Althier, Herbert and Leo.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Heller (Rachel), Corinne Stevens (Wayne) and Blair Heller (Debra); his grandchildren, Hannah (Caleb), Emma (Sam), Andrew, Kristian, Nathan, Katie (Andrew), Peter (Angie), Chelsey (Zachary), Brittney (Josh) and Shane (Molly); and his close friend Dorothy Arensdorf. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
