It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Lewis of Saint James, Minnesota, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Phipps (Roy) and Elodie Ely Phipps; her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Chad Ruble; her husband Leslie Lewis; her siblings, Marie Thomas (Al), Alfred Phipps, Fred Phipps (Margie), Tim Phipps (Lorinda), Mollie Kuhlman (Roy) and Sussie Kuhlman (Willis); James (Phyllis), Ralph (Esther) and Betty Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia (Gene) of Burnsville, Jim (Jennifer) of Hackensack, Denise (Pat) of Eagan, Ken (Gloria) of Lewisville, Karen of Owatonna and Mary (Wayne) of Hager City, Wisconsin. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 7 step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Watonwan County Historical Society or donor's choice.
