Gus left this world on February 22, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Zender and Elaine Zender (Schwartz); his stepmother Agnes; his wife Jan Zender; and his parents-in-law, Rollie and Ethel Roe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Allison Zender (Rick) of New Ulm, Minnesota and Emma Zender of Saint James, Minnesota; his brothers, David Zender of St. Peter, Charlie Zender (Vicki) of Blaine, Rick Zender (Claudine) of Spokane and Terry Burke (Ellen) of Waco, Texas; his stepmother-in-law Marcy Roe of Grey Eagle, Minnesota; and his sister-in-law June Tschida (Les) of Alexandria, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
