He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens Jensen and Edna Jensen (Christensen); his wife Patricia (Johnson); and his brother Tommy Jensen. He is survived by: his granddaughter Shawna; his daughters, DeAnna Shaikoski (Daniel) and Shawna Heavirland (Troy); his grandchildren, Justin Shaikoski (Sheila), Emilee Shaikoski, Troy Jasper Heavirland and Elizabeth Heavirland; and his great grandchild Jojos.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sturm Funeral Home, St. James Chapel (906 10th Ave S, St James, MN 56081). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
John's family requests that any memorials be made directly to the Wantonwan County Humane Society or the Minnesota Veterans Home- Luverne.
