Though Lawrence may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, John (Lora Mae), Walter Haler, Caroline Anaker (George) and Adeline Kubly (Orville); and his parents, John Haler and Frances Haler (Ries).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Peterson; and his children, Margaret Lewis (Terry) of Chanhassen, Richard Haler, Curtis Haler (Deanna) of Hastings and Roger Berndt (Cindy) of St. James. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (707 4th St S, St James, MN 56081). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
