She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Ritter and Josephine Ritter (Keppers); her husband Robert C. Schindler; her children, Duane "Duke", Vicki and Mary; her daughter-in-law Clair; and her siblings, Leo (Vivian), Hubert (Mary Ann), Mildred Raden (Edward), Angeline Burger (Marcus), Bernice Dobmeier (Virgil), Bernadine Thelen (Oswald), Evelyn Skaj (Al) and Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Denny, Doug (Glenda), Donny (Brenda) and Lori Nesheim (Ken); her brothers, Alfred (Adeline) and Edward; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Ritter. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
