He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton "Tony" Wasner and Mathilda "Tillie" Wasner (Fruth); his siblings, Darlene MacKenzie (Gary) and Gerald Wasner; and his nephew Craig MacKenzie.
He is survived by: his sister Debbie Teske (Rocky) of Avon; and his close friend June Hoffman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (12 W Minnesota St, St Joseph, MN 56374).
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to St. Joseph Fire Department.
