He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilya Tamarkin and Clara Tamarkin. He is survived by: his wife Genya Tamarkin; his sons, Leoni Tamarkin and Alex Tamarkin (Ellen); and his grandchildren, Zabrina Tamarkin, Andrew Tamarkin, Zoe Tamarkin and Jozie Tamarkin.
