It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Matthew Taney in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, who passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Taney and Mary Jayne Taney. He is survived by: his brothers, Brooke (Susan) and Ted (Jane); and his nieces and nephews, Brookes (Michele), Brian (Melissa), Lauren, Ashley and Whitney Taney LaMarre (Ryan).

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to support Diabetes or Alzheimer's research.
