He was predeceased by : his parents, Willmar Cardinal and Muriel Cardinal (Jewett); his siblings, Verla Lyrek, Garryl Cardinal and Delwin Cardinal; his siblings-in-law, Jane Cardinal, Diane Cardinal, Marlene Cardinal, Betty Lou Bergquist, Norman Splettstoeszer, Bennie Bergquist and Jim Bergquist; his nephew Dennis Babatz; and his great-nephew Austin Cardinal.
He is survived by : his children, Lesa Driscoll, Les Cardinal and Dan Cardinal; his former life partner Darleen Cardinal; his siblings, Mylen (Margie Cardinal), Marlette (Bill Babatz), Arlynn Cardinal (Mary Lou), Gerlene (Tony Klingelhoets), Orlan Cardinal and Dorlyn "Dewey" (Peggy Cardinal); and his siblings-in-law, Harriet Splettstoeszer, Donna Bergquist and Duane Lyrek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
