He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schleper and Helen Schleper (Hemmesch); his parents-in-law, Al and Dorien Revermann; his wife Patricia Revermann; his grandson Burke Engelmeyer; his sister Judy Vogt; and his brothers-in-law, Melvin, Dick and Kenny.
He is survived by: his children, Dale (Ann) of Melrose, Lori Peters (Chris) of St. Martin, Vicki Schleper (Ryan Burg) of Freeport, Robert (Susan) of Albany, Brenda Tschida (Kurt) of New Munich, Albert (Jennifer) of St. Martin and Amy Engelmeyer (Tom Koralewski) of Freeport; and his siblings, Herman (Terri Hennen), Eugene, Mark (Gretchen), Tom (Ruth), Roy (Jeannie), Betty Hansen and Marie Zimmer (Bob). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 25th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Martin Parish Hall in St. Martin (119 Maine St, St Martin, MN 56376). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, June 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Martin Catholic Church (119 Maine St, St Martin, MN 56376).
