He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Byer and Evalee Byer (Mullens); and his son Bradley Byer. He is survived by: his son Brett Byer; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Byer of St. Michael; his grandchildren, Dylan, Wesley, Ryan and Addison Byer; and his brother James Frederick Byer (Jackie) of South Carolina. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home (300 Main St N, St Michael, MN 55376).
