She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Cain and Laura Cain (Brantner); her former husband Warren Hase; her husband Larry Rootes; and her son Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Bohn (Wendy), Mark Bohn, Sheryl Bauer (Justin) and Scott Bohn (Julie). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (11300 Frankfort Pkwy NE, St Michael, MN 55376). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery - Assembly Area.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Margaret's memory to Monticello VFW Post 8731 or American Legion Post 260.
