With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wayne Carl Duerr of Saint Michael, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wayne Carl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Duerr and Helen Duerr (Barthel); and his brother Warren. He is survived by: his sister Marti Hanson (Curt); and his nieces and nephews, Tammy Hobgood (Danny), Terry Sipe (Susan), Myounghee Hanson (Rich) and Stacey Ko (Byung). He is also survived by seven great-nieces and nephews; six great-great-nieces and nephews; and countless other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (11300 Frankfort Pkwy NE, St Michael, MN 55376). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
