She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Milovich and Marilyn Milovich; and her husband Steven of Leon. She is survived by: her sons, Shide Timmons, Steve (Kristin) and Sam; her grandchildren, Alexis, Shawn, Shiann, Elena, Blake and Cameron; and her siblings, Debra Mendaz, Jena Rosati, Richard Milovich, Terri Rojas (Mario) and Michael Milovich (Beth). She is also survived by 12 nephews; two nieces; and many friends and family.

Jo had a heart to help those in need and served as a nurse at Bethesda Hospital for a number of years before retiring in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
