She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smekofske and Caroline Smekofske (Noe); her husband Maurice D. Janski; her children, Arline Evans and Frank; and her siblings, Marie Smith and Clarence "Smokey" Smekofske.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Nelson (Luther), Gloria Schuweiler (Bernie), Rodney, David (Jody) and Allan. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
