He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hoeben; and his children, Peter Hoeben (Ely), Tim Hoeben (Isabel), Wendy Amundson (Darin), Cheri Neumann (Jason) and Lisa Hoeben. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (19921 Nightingale St NW, Oak Grove, MN 55011). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Patrick's Church (19921 Nightingale St NW, Oak Grove, MN 55011).

The family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or National MS Society instead of flowers or other gifts.
