Alvina Lang Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 5, 2026, at the age of 85, Alvina Lang in Saint Paul, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvina Lang to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Maurer and Barbara Maurer; her husband Elmer Lang of Paul's Lutheran Church; her sister Eleanor Niebergall; her brothers-in-law, Gilbert Lang, Bert Horgas and Ervin Niebergall; her nephew Richard Horgas; and her niece Janice Mehling.

She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Sass (Darrell); her grandchildren, Alison Zulyniak (Trent), Brooklyn Sass (Keenan Ivey) and Carson Sass (Kennedy Hollinger); her son Keith (Donna); her grandchildren, Jayden Kosmonek (Chance) and Garrett Lang; her sisters, Louise Lang and Esther Horgas; and her siblings-in-law, Wilmarie Lutz and Cliff Jendrasheske (Laverne). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She also looked after the church memorial fund and church teas for many years and volunteered at the local thrift shop and at St. Paul Lutheran Home.
