She was predeceased by: her father Robert Larson; her grandmother Esther Larson; and her aunts, Hilma, Hilda and Olga Johanson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Hanson (Will) and Melissa Martinson (Pete Baldwin); and her grandchildren, Amelia, Ella, Winter and Raymond.
She retired from teaching in May 2020 during the height of the pandemic.
The venue cannot accept flowers, so memorials are preferred to Como Zoo & Conservatory, TPT (PBS), or Minnesota Public Radio.
