He was predeceased by: his parents, Ceil Markus and Harry Markus; and his brother Neil Markus. He is survived by: his daughters, Allison Markus and Jill Markus (Brad Fleisher) of Gaithersburg, Maryland; his grandchildren, Shoshanah and Joryn; his brothers-in-law, Barry Godes and Steve Godes; Dawn Rains of Vashon. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Temple of Aaron Cemetery (1690 Dale St N, Roseville, MN 55113). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Paul Jewish Community Center (1375 St Paul Ave, St Paul, MN 55116).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites contributions in Carl's memory to The Memory Hub in Seattle, WA, where he and Allison recently spent time.
