It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Martin Gear of Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Daniel departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Daniel leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his father Michael Gear. He is survived by: his mother Linda; his siblings, Shelly Schutts (Scott), Dede Hegeman (Troy) and Scott Gear; and his pet Toby.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
