He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Marianne. He is survived by: his wife Denise Brueggemann; his sons, Eric (Sacha) and Dan (Serina); his grandchildren, Sophia, Lillian and Laurel; his siblings, Gary (Jackie), Paul (Judy) and Lynn; his sisters-in-law, Angela (Dan), Debbie (Richie) and Jamie (Walt); and his former wife Lori Glynn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Friends of the St. Paul Public Library is preferred.
