We announce the death of David Howard Combs Jr. of Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 70. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Combs and Mary Combs; his wife Pamela; and his parents-in-law, Daniel Toshach and Grechen Toshach.
He is survived by: his sons, David III Combs (Jessica) and Brian Combs; his grandchildren, Madison McCauley (Mike), Autumn Strawn (Ethan), Ethan Combs and Alastair Combs; and his siblings, Cathy Nakamoto (Eric), Sue Kmetz (Doug), Don Combs (Yvonne) and Patti Combs. He is also survived by loving extended family and many close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dakota Lodge (1200 Stassen Ln, West St Paul, MN 55118). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
