We announce the death of Duane Hanson of Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 59. Duane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Corless. He is survived by: his parents, Sheila Marie Hanson (Lanter) of Weslaco, Texas and Glen Ellsworth Hanson; his wife Gloria Hanson of St. Paul, Texas; his children, Steven Hanson (Sarah) of Missouri, Brandon Hanson of Illinois, Kayla of Texas and McKenzie Hanson of Illinois; and his siblings, Cynthia Erich (Rod) of California, Brenda Pack (Jerry) of Illinois, Pamela Giordano (Jim) of Illinois and Michael Hanson of Michigan. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel (606 S San Patricio St, Sinton, TX 78387). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (725 Sodville St, Sinton, TX 78387). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Good News Church (3303 Navajo St, Corpus Christi, TX 78405).
