He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Chad (Jennifer), Corey Sauer, Jessica Nickelson (Jason) and Stephanie Sauer; his grandchildren, Samantha (Eddie), Nicholas (Britanny), Thomas, Joseph Sauer, Anna, Ellie, Chase Nickelson, Jack and Max Morrissey; and his brother Dennis Sauer (Kay).
Memorials preferred to Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and Ascension Catholic Academy.
